Having a Bachelor’s of Science-Nursing Degree has allowed me to provide nursing care for Lafayette County residents for over 16 years with compassion and integrity. These are skills that are vital in providing fair and impartial verdicts when elected to serve as your next Justice Court Judge. My nursing career has molded my skills of critical thinking, allowing me to work toward a positive outcome for patients and co-workers. My role in management has taught me to become a positive leader in many organizations throughout Mississippi, including the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Airforce JROTC program. I am confident that my years of experience and knowledge will assist me in being an honest, impartial, and fair Judge. My drive and desire to further my education while expanding my knowledge in new areas will continue, as I strive to learn Mississippi laws, attend required judicial training and work alongside different agencies of law enforcement in a professional manner to serve the residents of Lafayette County.
If elected I pledge to maintain yearly training and perform my duties as Justice Court Judge with integrity while interpreting the laws with fairness. I believe that my past experiences and leadership skills will provide me the foundation needed to serve as your next Justice Court Judge. My critical thinking skills as well as my ability to understand human nature will guide me to provide unbiased and impartial rulings based on current Mississippi laws.
