Vicki Gandy Wright was born and raised in Paris, MS to Stanford and Ruth Gandy. After high school, an Associate’s Degree from NWMCC and a degree in Radiologic Technology from Saint Joseph, Vicki went on to pursue her passion for patient care while completing her Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Ole Miss. Vicki’s career path allowed her the opportunity to travel across the US while working at various hospitals and clinics where she was challenged to actively listen and address the concerns of others.
Vicki married Alan Wright in 2003. They have three children together. They lived in DeSoto County until 2011, then Northwest Arkansas until 2022 at which time they moved back to Lafayette County to make Paris their permanent home. Vicki and her family are active members of North Oxford Baptist Church.
Seeing the troubled state of our elections and the swirling conversation around election integrity, Vicki was prompted to get involved in local and state politics during her time in Northwest Arkansas and now in Lafayette County. Vicki has a passion for people and enjoys working on Election Day at the voting precincts.
Voters want to feel confident that their vote matters and elect someone who will listen to their concerns and actively work to help solve them. Vicki is committed to bringing integrity to every election and ensuring our voter rolls are clean in Lafayette County District 5.
