New Three-Way Stop Now Active at County Road 232 and County Road 217

OXFORD, Miss. — The Lafayette County Road Department has installed a new three-way stop at the intersection of County Road 232 (Deer Run North) and County Road 217 (Camp Ground Road). The traffic control change is effective immediately.

Stop signs now control traffic in all three directions at the intersection, a change from the previous traffic pattern. Drivers who regularly use this route are advised to come to a complete stop in all directions and to use caution as motorists adjust to the new configuration.

County officials are asking residents to drive attentively through the area in the coming days.
