The Planning Department is responsible for the administration of the Lafayette County Zoning Ordinance as well as the Land Development Standards and Regulations adopted by the County. The Building Department is also tasked with issuing building permits for structures and enforcing the 2012 International Building Code as well as conducting building inspections during the course of construction of these structures. E911 Coordinator is responsible for issuing E911 addresses for all structures located outside the city limits of Oxford.
